Sharon, I already left a message on your facebook but if your like me I hardly look at facebook. Your father looked like such a nice man and it sounds like he had a very wonderful life. I'm so sorry for your loss. Even though we know it's not true I think we think we will have our parents with us here forever. My father passed away over 10 years ago and I still miss him.

Sharon, I don't know how I found your site, but its sooo cool! I enjoy checking it out every once in a while.
I'm so sorry to read about your Dad though. My Dad died last year in April (2008) from cancer. He had it everywhere. Even though he wasn't close to any of us girls, we all still pitched in and took care of him. Still, its been a tough year since he died! Somewhere in my mind, I just couldn't imagine not having a Dad around! Ya just think they are going to be here forever! At my age I still have to do an occasional reality check!?
I do hope the great memories you have of your Dad will bring you the peace and comfort you need to get through the tough days ahead.
Take Care ---
