For Thanksgiving this year our whole family made a trip to Glenwood Springs, Colorado for the holiday. We left Wednesday morning, at 5:40 a.m. and arrived at Glenwood Springs around 1:30. We have made this trip before with some dear friends, and wanted to experience the train ride again. This time we had more family members--totalling 13 in all. It was a wonderful experience, as we could sleep, read, and eat. The grand kids had a fun time coloring and playing games, and they could get up and walk around. We had a buffet dinner at Hotel Colorado, the place where we stayed. We went swimming in the Glenwood hot springs pool twice on Thanksgiving. Jenny and Ashleigh went shopping at Target and got all the things they wanted for "Black Friday" shopping. The town is so small that there were not the crazy shoppers that we experience here!!!!!! No one beats the door down that early in the morning there!!! On Friday, we rented cars and went to Aspen, Colorado for the day. It was snowing there, but we had a great time anyway.Later that evening the hotel had a lighting ceremony and Christmas program. During the program Natalie got engaged to Pua. We are all excited for her. We boardethe train on Saturday at 1:30 and we were home by 9:30 that evening. It was the best trip ever, and we would like to do it again.

What a wonderful trip! I saw your cute Ashleigh's blog and now I'm going to have to start following hers too! Except I haven't been a great blogger lately.......
I want to go!!! It sounds like so much fun. Tell Natalie congrats! And Sharon you look so cute in hats you'll have to teach me how to wear hats or at least which ones to wear.
